I just spent the last weekend playing Challenge the zombies, and I've got to say, it was a pretty wild ride. I've always been a fan of zombie games, and this one definitely delivered on the zombie-killing front. The gameplay is pretty straightforward - you've got your standard array of guns and melee weapons, and you've got to use them to take down hordes of undead. It's not exactly original, but it's a formula that works, and Challenge the zombies does it well.

One thing that really stood out to me was the level design. The game takes place in a bunch of different locations, from abandoned cities to creepy forests, and each one is full of nooks and crannies to explore. I loved scavenging for supplies and finding hidden paths and secrets - it added a whole extra layer of depth to the game. And the zombies themselves are pretty well-done, too. They're fast and aggressive, and they'll keep you on your toes. I found myself dying more than a few times because I got caught off guard by a sneaky zombie, but it was always my own fault, not the game's.

Now, I do have to say that the graphics aren't exactly mind-blowing. I mean, the game looks fine, but it's not like it's pushing the boundaries of what's possible or anything. The character models are a bit rough around the edges, and the environments can be a bit bland at times. But you know what? I didn't really care. The gameplay is so much fun that I didn't even notice the graphics after a while. And the sound design is actually really well-done - the sound effects are creepy and immersive, and the music is pulse-pounding. It all adds up to a really intense experience that'll keep you on the edge of your seat.

I did run into a few bugs and glitches, though. There were a few times when I got stuck on a piece of scenery, or when a zombie would just get stuck in a wall. It was annoying, but it wasn't game-breaking or anything. And the game's not too long, either - I was able to beat it in about 10 hours or so. But there's a bunch of replay value, too. There are multiple difficulty levels, and the game tracks your progress and scores, so you can compete with yourself to get better times and higher scores. I've already gone back and replayed a few levels to try and beat my old scores.

Overall, I'd definitely recommend Challenge the zombies to fans of the genre. It's not perfect, but it's a whole lot of fun, and it's a great way to kill a few hours. Just don't expect too much in the way of originality or groundbreaking graphics - this is a game that's all about straightforward, no-frills zombie-killing action. And you know what? Sometimes that's exactly what you need. So if you're in the mood for some mindless fun, Challenge the zombies is definitely worth checking out.

I'm actually thinking about going back and playing through it again, now that I've finished the main campaign. There are a few levels that I didn't get 100% on, and I want to go back and try and find all the hidden secrets and whatnot. And who knows, maybe I'll even try and play through it on the hardest difficulty level - I hear it's a real challenge. Anyway, if you're a fan of zombie games, or just action games in general, Challenge the zombies is definitely worth checking out. It's not the best game ever, but it's a whole lot of fun, and it's a great way to pass the time.
