I just spent the last few hours playing Square Sling and I'm still trying to process my thoughts on it. I mean, it's one of those games that's super simple to pick up, but it gets crazy challenging really quickly. The concept is easy to grasp - you're a square that can sling itself around a level using a grappling hook, and you need to navigate through obstacles to reach the end goal. Sounds easy, right? Wrong. The levels start off pretty straightforward, but soon you're dealing with moving platforms, spiked walls, and all sorts of other hazards that'll have you restarting over and over again.

At first, I was getting pretty frustrated with the game. I'd get to a certain point in a level and just get stuck, unable to figure out how to get past a particular obstacle. But the more I played, the more I started to appreciate the game's mechanics. The sling mechanic is really well done - it's got a great feeling of weight and momentum to it, and it's really satisfying to pull off a tricky shot and sling yourself across a level. And the levels themselves are really cleverly designed, with a lot of thought put into creating challenging but not impossible obstacles to overcome.

It's definitely a game that's suited to playing in short bursts - I found myself playing it for 20-30 minutes at a time, taking breaks to do other things. And the game's also got a pretty active community, with leaderboards and daily challenges that add a bit of extra replay value. So while it's not perfect, Square Sling is definitely a game that's worth checking out if you're a fan of challenging platformers.

I'm not sure if Square Sling is a game that I'll be coming back to in the long term, but for now, I'm having a lot of fun with it. It's a great game to play when you've got a few minutes to kill, and it's definitely a good choice if you're looking for something to challenge you. Just be prepared to get frustrated at times - this game is not for the faint of heart. But if you're up for the challenge, Square Sling is a game that's definitely worth sling-ing into your gaming rotation.
