Obby: Extreme Cart Ride Review & Gameplay Guide
I just spent the last few hours playing Obby: Extreme Cart Ride and I have to say, it's been a wild ride. The game is basically an obstacle course where you control a cart that's just flying down a track, and you have to navigate through all these crazy twists and turns to reach the end. It sounds simple, but trust me, it's not as easy as it sounds. The first few levels were okay, I was just kind of cruising along, getting the hang of the controls and whatnot, but then the game starts to throw all these insane obstacles at you.
At first, I was getting pretty frustrated, I won't lie. I died like, a million times on this one level where you have to jump over a gap and then immediately turn hard to the left to avoid a wall. It was just one of those things where you're like, "come on, just one more try!" But the more I played, the more I started to get the hang of it. I began to anticipate the obstacles and time my jumps just right, and it was actually kind of exhilarating. The game has this really satisfying feeling when you finally beat a level that's been giving you trouble, and it's like, "yes, I did it!"
One thing that's kinda weird about Obby: Extreme Cart Ride is the graphics. They're not bad or anything, but they're just kinda... generic. I mean, the tracks and the obstacles and everything just look like they were ripped straight out of some other game. It's not like the game is trying to be some super realistic sim or anything, but at the same time, it would be nice if it had a bit more of its own style. The music is pretty cool though - it's this high-energy electronic stuff that gets you pumped up and ready to go.
As I kept playing, I started to notice that the levels are actually pretty well-designed. I mean, they're not just randomly thrown together or anything - there's actually a lot of thought that went into creating these obstacle courses. The game does a good job of gradually ramping up the difficulty too, so you're never just thrown into some impossible level out of nowhere. It's more like, "okay, I've got this," and then suddenly, "wait, what's this new thing?" And you have to adapt and learn how to deal with it.
One thing that I'm not a huge fan of is the lack of customization options. I mean, you can change the color of your cart, but that's about it. It would be cool if you could unlock different carts or characters or something, just to give the game a bit more personality. As it is, it feels like you're just kind of... going through the motions, you know? But at the same time, the gameplay is just so much fun that it's hard to get too upset about it. Overall, I'd say Obby: Extreme Cart Ride is definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of obstacle course games or just looking for something to play for a few hours.
All in all, I'd say I'm pretty impressed with Obby: Extreme Cart Ride. It's not a perfect game or anything, but it's just a lot of fun to play. The levels are well-designed, the gameplay is challenging but not impossible, and it's just a great way to spend a few hours. If you're looking for a game that's just going to give you a good time, I'd definitely recommend giving Obby: Extreme Cart Ride a shot. Just be prepared to die a lot - it's not always easy, but it's definitely worth it.
