Ninja Obby Parkours Review & Gameplay Guide
I just spent the last few hours playing Ninja Obby Parkours and I've got to say, it's been a wild ride. I mean, I've played my fair share of obby games before, but this one's got some unique twists that kept me coming back for more. The levels are pretty well designed, with a good mix of straightforward jumps and more complex parkour sections that require some serious skill and timing. The graphics are nothing to write home about, but they get the job done - it's not like you're going to be blown away by the visuals or anything, but they're decent enough that you can focus on the gameplay without getting distracted.
One thing that really stood out to me was the difficulty curve. It starts off pretty easy, with some simple jumps and basic parkour moves, but as you progress through the levels it gets increasingly tougher. I found myself having to retry some sections dozens of times before I finally managed to nail them, but it was always satisfying when I did. The game's got a good sense of progression, too - as you complete levels and collect coins, you unlock new skins and gear for your ninja character, which is a nice touch. It's not like it's a huge deal or anything, but it's a good way to add some replay value and give you a sense of accomplishment.
Now, I'm not gonna lie, there are some pretty frustrating parts to the game. Some of the later levels have these super tight timing sections where you've got to make a jump at just the right moment or you'll fail, and it can get pretty annoying when you're trying to beat a level and you keep failing at the same spot over and over. But at the same time, when you do finally manage to beat it, it's a great feeling - you feel like you've really accomplished something, you know? And the game's got a good sense of flow, too - once you get into a rhythm, you can just keep going and going, which is really addictive.
I also appreciate that the game's not too long, either. I mean, I've seen some obby games that just drag on forever, with levels that feel like they're just copy-pasted from earlier in the game. But Ninja Obby Parkours is pretty concise - it's got a good 20-30 levels, and once you've beaten them all, you can just move on to something else. It's not like it's a huge time commitment or anything, which is nice. And the game's also got a pretty active community, from what I can tell - there are always people playing and competing for the top spots on the leaderboards, which is cool to see.
If I've got one major complaint, it's that the game could use a bit more variety in terms of its level design. I mean, don't get me wrong, the levels are all well-designed and fun to play, but after a while, they start to feel a bit samey. You've got your standard platforming levels, your parkour levels, and your "avoid the obstacles" levels, and that's pretty much it. It would be nice to see some more creative level ideas, maybe some more emphasis on exploration or puzzle-solving. But overall, though, I'd say Ninja Obby Parkours is a solid addition to the obby genre - it's not revolutionary or anything, but it's a fun, challenging game that's worth checking out if you're a fan of this type of thing.
All in all, I'd say I'm pretty happy with my experience with Ninja Obby Parkours. It's not a perfect game, but it's a fun, addictive one that's great for playing in short bursts. If you're a fan of obby games or just looking for something new to play, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Just be prepared to get frustrated at times - this game's not for the faint of heart, and you'll need to be willing to put in the time and effort to get good at it. But if you're up for the challenge, Ninja Obby Parkours is a great choice.
