Fashion Valkyries Saga of Style Review & Gameplay Guide

I just finished playing Fashion Valkyries Saga of Style and I'm still trying to process what I just experienced. I mean, the name of the game is pretty self-explanatory - it's a game about fashion, and valkyries, and... well, style, I guess. But going into it, I had no idea what to expect. The gameplay trailer looked kinda cool, I'll admit, but I was skeptical. I mean, how much depth could a game about fashion really have? But, I decided to give it a shot, and I'm glad I did.

At first, the game was a bit overwhelming. There are a ton of different characters, each with their own unique style and abilities, and it took me a while to get a handle on who was who and what they did. But, as I progressed through the game, I started to get more and more into it. The combat system is actually really cool, and it's based on this idea of "style" which is basically like a magic meter that you build up as you attack and defend. When your style meter is full, you can unleash these crazy powerful moves that just devastate your enemies. It's really satisfying, and it adds a whole new layer of strategy to the gameplay.

But, what really surprised me about Fashion Valkyries was the story. I mean, I was expecting some kinda fluff, superficial narrative, but the game actually has a really deep and interesting storyline. The valkyries are all based on different mythologies and cultures, and the game delves into their backstories and motivations in a way that's really compelling. The writing is great, and the characters are all really well-developed and relatable. I found myself getting really invested in the story, and I was actually bummed when it ended.

One thing that did kinda bug me about the game was the repetition. I mean, the levels are all pretty similar, and you're doing the same basic thing over and over again - fighting enemies, collecting loot, and upgrading your characters. Don't get me wrong, it's fun, but after a while, it starts to feel a bit grindy. And, the game doesn't really do a great job of explaining some of the more complex systems, like the crafting and upgrade trees. I had to do a bit of digging online to figure some stuff out, which was kinda frustrating.

Despite the repetition, though, I had a really great time playing Fashion Valkyries. The game has a lot of heart, and it's clear that the developers are passionate about what they're doing. The art style is amazing, the music is catchy, and the characters are all really unique and interesting. If you're a fan of action RPGs, or just looking for something a bit different, I'd definitely recommend checking it out. Just be prepared for a bit of a learning curve, and don't be afraid to look up some guides online if you get stuck.

Overall, I'd say Fashion Valkyries Saga of Style is a solid 8 out of 10. It's not perfect, but it's a really fun and engaging game that's definitely worth playing. The story is great, the combat is satisfying, and the characters are all really well-developed. If you're in the mood for something a bit off the beaten path, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. And, who knows, you might just find yourself getting sucked into the world of fashion valkyries - I know I did.
