I just spent the last 20 hours playing Everwild Survival and I'm still trying to process my thoughts on the game. I mean, it's not like it's a bad game or anything, it's just that it feels like it's missing something. The concept is pretty cool - you're dropped into this massive open world with nothing but your wits and a few basic tools to survive. The environment is super detailed and immersive, and I loved exploring the different biomes and discovering new resources.

But the thing is, the gameplay can get pretty repetitive. I mean, it's a lot of gathering resources, crafting tools, and building shelter. Don't get me wrong, it's fun at first, but after a while it starts to feel like you're just doing the same thing over and over again. I also had some issues with the combat system - it feels a bit clunky and unresponsive at times, which can be frustrating when you're trying to take down a tough enemy. And the enemies themselves can be pretty tough, even on the lower difficulty levels.

One thing that I did enjoy about the game was the dynamic weather system and day-night cycle. It adds a whole new level of realism to the game, and it's pretty cool to see the environment change and adapt to the time of day and the weather. It also makes the game feel more challenging, since you have to plan your activities around the weather and the time of day. For example, it's not a good idea to go exploring during a thunderstorm, and you need to make sure you have a safe place to sleep at night.

Despite its flaws, I'm still having a lot of fun playing Everwild Survival. The game has a certain charm to it, and the sense of accomplishment you get from building a new shelter or crafting a new tool is really satisfying. I also appreciate that the game doesn't hold your hand - you're left to figure things out for yourself, which can be a bit frustrating at times, but it's also really rewarding when you finally figure out how to do something. I'm not sure if I would recommend Everwild Survival to everyone, though. If you're a fan of survival games and are looking for a new challenge, then you'll probably love it. But if you're new to the genre or are looking for something with a stronger narrative focus, then you might want to look elsewhere. The game is still in early access, so I'm hoping that the developers will continue to update and expand it over time. With a bit more polish and refinement, I think Everwild Survival could be a really great game.

Overall, I'd say that Everwild Survival is a solid, if not spectacular, game. It's got some great ideas and a lot of potential, but it's not quite there yet. I'm still having fun playing it, and I'm excited to see how it develops over time. If you're a fan of survival games or are just looking for something new to play, then I'd say it's definitely worth checking out. Just be aware of its flaws and don't expect too much in terms of storyline or characters - it's all about the gameplay, and if you're okay with that, then you'll probably have a blast playing Everwild Survival.
