I just spent the last few hours playing Cake Protector, and I'm still trying to wrap my head around this weirdly addictive game. At first, I thought it was going to be some kind of boring tower defense game, but it's so much more than that. The basic premise is that you have to protect a cake from these creepy little creatures that are trying to eat it, and you do that by building walls and traps to keep them from getting to it. Sounds simple, right? But trust me, it gets complicated fast.
